Code Waco Developer Meetup

Code Waco Developer Meetup

A group of software engineers (developers and techie's alike) in the Waco, Texas area getting together to talk tech, life, and everything in between.

What is it?

A group of people who like to write code getting together to talk about work, life, and everything in between. We meet on the last Thursday of every month at Startup Waco.

As we grow, we will bring in various programming efforts like guest speakers, fun activities, etc. that align to things we all enjoy doing and learning about.

Who is it for?

Anyone who likes to code, wants to code, or is actively learning to code. It's a space to get to know your local coding peers and elevate your knowledge.

Why does it exist?

Because software engineers enjoy networking with each other and most of us lack the ability to engage with our peers either professionally, or personally. I work remotely and it's really nice to have an opportunity to hang out with people like me in person.

When is it?

The last Thursday of every month from 5:30pm to 7pm at Startup Waco, 605 Austin Street, Waco.

Interested?

Show up at our next meetup and join our mailing list below so we can invite you and keep you informed.

What an amazing evening. | Tessa Kriesel
What an amazing evening. Such a great turn out for our first event. We had 20 developers join us (based on my quick video). Twenty. Right here in Waco, Texas. It brought me so much joy to help plan and see this event come to life and watch the friendships being made right in front of my eyes. This. This is the good stuff. My heart needed these community roots, and it’s everything I hoped it would be, and so much more. Shout out to Startup Waco for hosting us with open arms. What a lovely venue and atmosphere for this event. We will be meeting again soon. Very soon. Reach out if you want to receive updates. #CodeWaco
